PLAY and WIN
Maybe it's just me ,,, Have you ever been in a Black church and find yourself praying, hoping, that the preacher would not venture in dirty politics but simply preach.
Sometimes you can see them drifting towards the inevitable Blacks are oppressed by Whites, Police are an oppressive force for minorities, the system is against us. etc. ... If I were in any leadership position in the Black community, I would call for a MORATORIUM on blaming the other races for our difficulties. I am certain that if Blacks stop blaming others we would all do better.
Often in the sea of lookalikes melanin-rich worshipers a few less pigmented individuals are also trying to worship with us. I can only imagine how they feel when they are in a sense being told that they are not welcome in this congregation.
I believe that, somehow, a lot of Blacks lack a very simple skill that children learn at an early age in their development. This skill is often described as PARALLEL PLAY. It would have been best if we could love each other, play together but at least we should be able to peacefully play "parallely" in our own corner.
Remember the Samaritan.
